The Ticao Tarictic Hornbill formerly occurred on Ticao Island in the Philippines. However, the last sighting was made in 1971 when 3 individuals were collected. Less than 10 hectares of rainforest are all that remain of its former habitat (c.350 sq km). Thus, we know for certain that it does not survive.
