Synonym/s: Myosorex eisentrauti rumpii Heim de Balsac, 1968:20

 

Conservation Status

Last record: c. 1967

IUCN RedList status: Endangered

 

Probably still extant (Hutterer, 2008). Although the only known specimen was collected in 1967 and there has been no record of the species since. Hence, there must be at least the possibility that it has become extinct.

 

Distribution

Rumpi Hills, southwestern Cameroon

Hypodigm

Only known from the holotype (Hutterer, 2008).
