According to (Steinitz & Ben-Tuvia, 1960:161):
"the taxonomic results of the study were summarized by Steinitz in 1953. The name of T. simonis intermedia submitted in that paper, and subsequently applied also in 1954, must be considered a nomen nudum validated only through the present publication. "
